Honda

Honda is best known for building efficient and reliable cars that are affordable to own and maintain. The formula has worked well, allowing Honda to grow and become the fourth largest automobile brand in the US.

Honda is home to a broad range of vehicles that encompass everything from the frugal Honda Fit subcompact to the segment-busting Honda Ridgeline pickup truck. Several of its models are perennial best sellers, including the Honda Civic compact and Honda Accord midsize cars.

A global leader in engine technology, Honda was also a pioneer in gasoline/electric hybrid technology, launching the Honda Insight ahead of Toyota’s Prius in the US. Today, the company continues to expand its hybrid presence and improve the technology.

In addition to automobiles, Honda is the world’s largest manufacturer of motorcycles and also sells marine engines, personal watercraft, and power generators. They are currently developing jet aircraft and are actively researching robotics and artificial intelligence.

The company has extensive operations in the US, with headquarters in Torrance, California. Honda has manufacturing facilities in Ohio, Indiana, and Alabama and engineering and design groups in Ohio and California.
