Hyundai

Hyundai is fast becoming one of the strongest automotive brands in America. Known initially for offering great value, the brand has since expanded with stylish designs and top-level safety scores. In 2009, the brand was awarded status as the most fuel-efficient automaker in the US by the Environmental Protection Agency.

Key to Hyundai’s success is a strong lineup of sedans, coupes, and utility vehicles. The Hyundai Tucson crossover and Hyundai Sonata midsize sedan were recently redesigned and the brand has been pushing up-market with its Hyundai Genesis luxury sedan. A sporty Genesis Coupe is also available to entice car enthusiasts.

Hyundai has also set goals to increase fuel efficiency and is actively working on gasoline/electric hybrid technology. Production hybrids are now rolling out across the lineup, featuring advanced new lithium-polymer batteries.

The company has US headquarters in Fountain Valley, California and a manufacturing facility in Montgomery, Alabama.
