South Korea’s Kia is known for its line of affordable vehicles and has been working hard to add “stylish” to that description. After identifying design as a key area for growth, the company brought in renowned automotive designer, Peter Schreyer in 2006 to overhaul their look. Since then, Kia has launched one stylish product after another, gaining market share and winning new fans.

Kia’s lineup today features a full range of sedans, coupes, hatchbacks, wagons, minivans, and sport utility vehicles. Standouts include the hip Kia Soul, sporty Kia Forte Koup, and family-oriented Kia Sorento crossover.

The company has also made major progress with safety. Several of their models boast best-in-class ratings from the government and Insurance Institute for Highway Safety. Kia has also made major investments in the US with a manufacturing plant in Georgia and corporate headquarters in California.
