Legend has it that manufacturing magnate, Ferrucio Lamborghini vowed to design and engineer his own cars after his friend, carmaker Enzo Ferrari, insulted him during an argument. The first Lamborghini grand touring cars launched in 1963 and the brand gained international acclaim with the launch of the groundbreaking Lamborghini Miura in 1966.

Today, Lamborghini offers coupe and convertible versions of the V10-powered Lamborghini Gallardo and V12-powered Murcielago. Both are among the fastest production cars in the world, featuring powerful engines, advanced construction techniques, and all-wheel drive.
