  My review:

  I purchased a 9-3 because of its outstanding safety features, and overall value for the price. It has had better than expected reliability, though not without some problems. Its fuel economy is excellent, usually 36 mph highway, and comfort on long trips is superb. It's also fun to drive with excellent handling.

  My suggestions for improving this car:

  1. Improve reliability, good as is but should be equal to Honda, Toyota, etc. 2. Offer hybrid or other state-of-the-art engine/drivetrain. SAAB turbocharged engines offer excellent fuel economy with power, surpassing all but hybrid or diesel engines. A hybrid engine is the next step.
