I absolutely love this car, and now that I've actually been in my friend's car several times and even driven it 3 or 4 times, it's definitely on my list once my current lease ends. I think out of all the sedans on the road today, this one is by far my favorite.
Compared to my car, this car gets so much better gas mileage. I also feel safer in this car than in my own. I even looked up the crash testing scores and it gets raves for being safe.
I was also surprised at the speediness of the car. One might think of it as any other sedan where it takes a bit to get to your desired speed, but this one just seems to get to that speed faster. That might also be another reason I think it feels more safe as well.
I can't even think of anything they could do to improve this car. I know they have hybrids as well, and I should be making a statement about the environment by wanting a hybrid. However, with the gas mileage this car gets, I'd still feel pretty green!!
My friend owns the Element and I've been a passenger as well as driven it a couple times. First off, I think the car has really cool lines to it. It really makes it distinctive and not like every other small SUVs on the road.
On the inside, you'd be surprised at how much room is actually there. It has plenty of legroom, room to put a lot of things in it, whether it's work items, or weekend toys! I didn't know it right off the bat, but my friend was moving the seats around every which way, which makes it really useful to fir both people and things. I couldn't even tell you the number of different ways you can put each of the seats down; it's just plain versatile.
I also love the fact that it's small enough to fit into parking spaces very easily, yet has that 4-wheel drive rugged feel when you need it. Overall, I really like it!
It gets pretty good gas mileage, but I suppose they could always try to improve on that.
I think what people would be the most surprised about (like me) about this SUV is what you get for the money. I've gone along with a couple friends who were looking for a good, reliable, but nice-looking SUV. What we kept running into was that SUVs are not just expensive to fill up at the gas tank, but the price tag on them to begin with can be way out of many people's budgets. Not this one... Not only does it have a good amount of room for an SUV, but it has some features I wouldn't expect for an SUV that has a price tag in the $20 range (even less depending on what options you need).
Not only that, but it gets pretty good gas mileage. Maybe it helps that it's more a compact than a full-size SUV, but still, I ws really impressed with the gas mileage.
I even gave it a higher rating than I usually would a smaller SUV in the safety category. This Tucson seems to have airbags from every angle. I'd feel very safe and secure inside this ride.
In a nutshell, it's comfortable, cute, fun to drive, I feel safe inside the vehicle, and I can't even complain about the gas mileage when I take into account it's an SUV.
It might add slightly to the cost, but if they could upgrade a couple of the interior pieces (around the dash and console area), it would make it an even bigger bang for the buck!
I really like the ride of this car. I drove one of my friend's, and I really underestimated what a good ride it would be. It was smooth, quiet, and I felt like I could drive for a lot of miles without getting a backache. There aren't a lot of cars I would say that about right now. It's a car I would recommend to some of my friends as a good car for not only the work commute, but for weekend getaways.
Possibly slightly better gas mileage, but it is a LOT better than most of the cars I've driven.
I lean toward sportier cars, so naturally this would be more my style car. However, if I put all the sports cars in a line, I wouldn't put this in my top 3 lineup. Maybe it's because it's been around for so long that I'm looking for something that completely stands out that not a ton of people already own. Whatever the reason, it just doesn't fall under my must haves. Still, there is no denying it's sort of an icon at this point.
There are 2 different versions of this car; I prefer the higher-end model. It has more styling and features and it at least stands out from the crowd of sports cars more than the lower-end model. If you're a Chevy fanatic and love your sports cars, I'd suggest just gong for it and getting the higher-end version.
I think they should make more distinctive attributes between the lower-end and higher-end models. If I'm paying more money for the higher-end model, I want a more distinctive look and much more features.
Would like to see more attention paid to the interior. It looks a bit 5 years ago to me. More features, upgrades, etc...
I don't really like window-like hood; personal taste I guess.
I think most people know the Lexus reputation by now... it's good. From everything I hear and all my friends hear, it's the "smartest" brand out there. I ended up in a Jaguar, but Lexus was my 2nd choice. It came down to my desire for a sexier car vs. the confident, capable and smart Lexus. Not that Jaguar isn't smart, it just of course doesn't have the same reputation as Lexus.
This to me is luxury at it's best. It's stylish, yet refined, smooth yet powerful. It's really the whole package!
The sound system on this beauty is fantastic. I can't say it's the best I've ever heard in my life, put I give it top 3 -- and I mean drect from the factory vs. some aftermarket system.
I can't think of many people that wouldn't love this car. Fully recommend it!!
I can't really think of anything other than maybe better gas mileage, but if I was so concerned with that, I'd go with Lexus Hybrid...
I wasn't sure how to feel about this SUV. It's almost in between a regular SUV and what's considered to be a crossover. I think of it more like a crossover because it's just a bit too small to be an SUV. I'm guessing a lot of people might not agree with me.
I'm not overly excited about the look of it. I find it to be ever so slightly like the look of a MINI, which is definitely not a favorite of mine. For an Audi (which of course is well-known as luxury and classy), it just fell short for me in the looks department. It's possible I just wanted it to have more of a luxury look and feel.
However, overall, I thought it rode very, very well. I was very comfortable in it and it was super quiet, which is important for me especially on long trips.
Also, I've heard from some of my friends who own it that it got good safety ratings, and you can tell when your in it. If you are looking for a smaller version of an SUV, want a piece of luxury, very quiet and safe, then this is a great choice.
More luxurious look; better gas mileage, and better value for the money.
Ok, I'm admittedly biased. I have a Jaguar and love, love, love my Jag. I don't have this model, but I know someone who owns one and have driven the XF on several occasions.
I was even slightly skeptical based on the price of this vs. what the XK is, so I thought "less power, not as much luxury, etc..." To my surprise, this thing is a little rocket. Ok, it's not an Indy 500 car, but if you want to be the leader of the pack on the road, feel confident that you can move through traffic like a breeze, and get where you need to go and feel good when you get there, this is the car.
It has a slightly less traditional Jaguar look, but i think that's good to have a model line that may not look like exactly what you expect. I still like the look of the classic or sportier versions a little better, but I get where they were going with it.
When you hit the gas, you don't expect that same Jag "quick push", but it delivers! I'd actually like to take the XF against one of the other sportier models to see exactly how they run against each other.
I would absolutely recommend this car to any of my friends. I think for the money, you get the Jag luxury and speed without the price tag. Very nice!
Possibly more of the classic look, but that's just because of my personal taste.
Better gas mileage. Is there a hybrid in the future??
I drove this car a few times while on trips with one of my friends and we would switch driving. While I was driving it, I got a chance to see what I liked about the car and other things I wish it had.
Overall on the outside, it's a nice-looking car for the money. It's not necessarily my personal style (I'm sportier), but my friend really loves it. I like the lines on it better than other coupes I've seen on the road. However, I wasn't overly impressed with the interior. I would have like to have seen a "plushier" interior. I'm not expecting luxury at a coupe price, but when I compare it to other coupes I've either owned or been in, it seemed like more could have been done to make it look more expensive without adding much to the cost. Internally, it looked like it was a couple model years behind.
I gave the Altima a "B" for overall value for the money. I would have given it a higher grade if more attention to detail had been paid to the interior.
I also thought it felt a little tight. I've had to sit in the back seat before, and for a car that's not a sports car, it's pretty small. I expect that in a sports car, but not necessarily a coupe. Again, my friend loves it and drives it every day and on trips. Her car beats mine for trips, but I wouldn't want more than 2 of us in the car on a long trip.
More attention to the interior of the car.
More legroom in the back seating.
More standard features.
I think this is one of those cars that not enough people have driven in or test drive. Once you do, you realize that it's not just a great value for the money, but a packs a little punch when you hit the gas, and has a lot of features other car companies don't think of when they design them.
Just to mention of few of the benefits of the Sonata: roomy, lots of features, faster than you would guess at first glance, I personally love a lot of the colors, and something that is really important these days... a great warranty.
This is one of those vehicles that I think for what it is gets pretty good fuel economy. I have that opinion that if it gets great fuel economy, it must not be a great-looking car. However, this gets good fuel economy and is a nice looking car as well.
I might give up a couple miles per gallon for a V-8, but I do get why they decide to go with only a V-6. I really don't have any major criticisms of this car. Again, really good value for the money!
I have a friend who owns the Azera. It might not be something I would normally put in my "must-have" list for the type of driving I do, but if I wanted a vehicle that had a little more room than one would expect for a mid-size, I think this fits the bill very well. I've been in several mid-size sedans (rentals and driving with friends), and this really had more room than a lot of the other sedans I've been in over the past few years.
I also felt a sense of safety while i was in this car. I feel like they took this car to another level of safety than it's competitors.
Along with the other attributes I liked, I thought it had a lot of features for the money. If you're looking for the perfect car for both the work week and the weekends, this is definitely one to consider. By the way, it's faster than you might think!
Since it is probably a car that would be used for commuting and longer trips, any additional gas mileage would be a plus with the gas prices these days.
I do like this car, but not as much as I thought it would. Don't get me wrong, this car does get a lot of looks, but I don't know that I feel like it's extremely well made. I guess what I really think is that it's a great car for the money, but I would pay more for a car that had a sturdier structure.
I didn't feel like it was a quiet (and I don't mean the roar of the engine). I heard more outside noise than I expected. I've been in other sporty cars that handled better that were comparably priced. It's better than a ton of other sports cars out there, but my expectations were probably higher than they should have been. The shifting was not quite as smooth as I expected.
Again though, for the value of the money & getting noticed, it's very respectable.
Make it a little more sturdy (heavier but still stealth?) so I would feel more safe in side the car. Better gas mileage. This is very picky, but there were several colors I really didn't like. I would stick with the basic colors. It could be that the colors are designed purposely to stand out in a crowd, but it just wasn't my thing.
Anyone who thinks they could never afford a M-Benz should absolutely take a look at this car. I could have listed so many other great character traits of this car. Give me this over a BMW any day! I know it's a matter of personal taste, but this blows away BMWs.
Once I started driving this car, I felt like I was in my own world. I couldn't hear any sounds from the outside world (even without the radio/CD player on). No rattles, bumpy feeling... just the way a nice luxury car should be for a fraction of the price of some of the other luxury cars on the market.
I ended up with a different car for various reasons, but this may very well be my next car :) Great price, great performance and class plus!
I'd love to be able to give improvement suggestions, but I'm such a huge fan of this car, I could only say to improve the gas mileage. With the price of gas these days, even luxury cars need to be mindful of how many miles per gallon these cars can get.
I personally like the look of the Arnage better (but of course the Arnage is $50k+ more, so I guess that would make sense). However, I do still like the way this car feels.
I will say that it does look a touch too boxy for my taste, but the performance is smooth as silk. It's also one of those cars that you feel like you're in your own world when you're in it. You basically leave the outside world behind.
This is a car I would recommend to people who are in the market for a true luxury car that would make anyone feel like a million bucks.
Find a way to price so more people can afford (or re-think the models to make some lower-priced even than what they have), better gas mileage, smoother lines would be more appealing to me.
I love this car! I am so much more partial to Mercedes-Benz cars over BMWs. I just think it's a classier, more unique car. Maybe I see too many BMWs that I'm tired of them, but I think these cars are just sexier.
They handle like a dream, I don't hear outside noise, and it has great features. I haven't seen many cars that live up to the standards this car does.
If anyone asked me my opinion between this and most other luxury vehicles, I'd recommend this in a heartbeat. Someday I will own this car!
I'd love to be able to afford this car and would love to see it get more MPG.
I've seen this on the road and at auto shows, but have never driven one. I think it's a chic ride and certainly wouldn't turn it down. I can;t afford it, but I can see why anyone who could afford it would be interested in it.
Better gas mileage; try to figure out a way that more people who aren't celebrities or rich could afford it.
There's nothing bad I can say about the "status" of this vehicle. If you want someone to think you are famous/affluent, this is the car. However, as much as I like the luxurious feel, it is a bit big for my taste as a non-SUV. You would definitely feel safe in this car, and the standard features are amazing. It's not my personal taste, but I would certainly see why most people long for this car.
Gas-guzzler and very expensive
I do think this is a good-looking car. It wouldn't be my first choice just because of the pricing, but I would recommend it to some of my friends.
More competitive pricing and more environmentally friendly.
Can't say enough about these cars. I think they are completely underrated from the older misconceptions of the quality of the cars. This car is fast, amazing-looking, gets looks wherever it is. It looks like a pricier car than it is.
Better gas mileage. It;s tough to say better safety just because it's a sports car, and you can only ask so much from a sports car.
I really like this car. I wouldn't mind if it were a bit lower priced; not sure if they raised the price because of the celebrity following, but I've seen more expensive-looking cars for less money. However, the interior and the way it handles is really great. It handles well on long trips (much better than many other cars on the road.
Lower the price some to make it more competitive compared to other cars.
Saw it at the auto show and really like the look of it. It also seems very comfortable; I would love to test drive it for a couple days when I have to travel so I can see if it feels as good as it seems it would. Overall I think it's a really great car and will definitely consider purchasing this car.
A little better gas mileage because I travel and take long trips a lot.
I rode with one of my friends on a trip and was really impressed with the Pilot. I loved the feel; it was really comfortable on our road trip. I don't have kids, but she does. I can see how this would even put it up another notch. The stereo system and internal features were great. I would highly recommend this to any of my friends with kids, who ski, who carry a lot of items, or just want a car for some fun and adventure.
Better gas mileage would be great and make it even better.
What can you say about a car that already has such a great reputation? This car lives up to all the hype. It looks good, it's drives well (could drive it for hours and hours). It's the brand that has the best reputation, and has it for a reason. I have no doubt after driving it my next car will be a Lexus! Now which one.... sedan or convertible?!
Slightly improved gas mileage, but then I know if I want that, I will just end up buying one of their hybrids.
I really liked driving this car. I felt safe and it was a nice, smooth drive. I like it even better than I liked the 2009. I would definitely recommend this car to my friends.
Maybe slightly better gas mileage (but they do have the hybrid version)!
Unexpectedly quicker than I thought. It's understated sportiness was a nice surprise. Overall I really enjoyed driving this car and would recommend it to friends!
I guess slightly better gas mileage.
The safety factor is what drew me into this car. It didn't under-promise either. I had a minivan hit me full speed while I was at a red light, and the rear bumper did take a good portion of the impact. Also the perfect size if you don't have a garage!
Always looking for upgrades/added options. A little better gas mileage.
I Love it! It's by far the best car I've ever owned! People are constantly walking around the vehicle when I come out from grocery shopping or whatever. It's such a joy to drive and makes driving fun!
I guess if they could find a way to get better gas mileage, but that's all I can really say about any improvements.
Fun to drive, fast, and sporty. It's a car that everyone knows and even has it's own club because we're so loyal! :)
Better gas mileage.
