Starting originally as an aerospace defense company, Saab diversified after World War II to build automobiles. Over the years their vehicles have been responsible for major innovations in ergonomics, aerodynamics, and turbocharging.

The brand’s lineup today consists of the Saab 9-3 and Saab 9-5. The 9-3 range offers a sedan, station wagon, and convertible, each with a turbocharged engine and athletic handling. The 9-5 sedan is known mostly for its sleek design, with an aircraft-style wraparound windshield and bold, simple forms.

Every vehicle in the lineup also features Saab’s trademark Night Panel illumination, which can turn off every light in the cabin except the speedometer at the flick of a switch. The brand also employs a unique placement for the ignition. Drivers must train themselves to direct their keys to a center console that is mounted between the front seats, behind the transmission shifter.
